Well it looks like we are in for some Stormy Weather in the Pacific Northwest this weekend. Make sure your fuel tank is full, and that you have fuel for your generator, you made need it.  Try to park away from things that could fall or be blown over onto it, that kind of damage is never fun to deal with.  If you are going to be out in the weather make sure that your emergency kit is packed full and up to date.  Traffic could get ugly, and we don’t want to see you stuck out there without your safety and snack items.  Most of all enjoy the weather and be safe.

It’s the rainy season, are your wipers working well?  Or are they leaving streaks, and compromising your visibility?  Being able to see clearly when it is raining, especially at night is very important for your safety.  If you are having problems seeing the road, please come on in to our shop, and we will replace your wipers in a jiffy.

Just a reminder that we are halfway through Shocktober!!  If you are in need of shocks and/or struts, NOW is the time to purchase them.  Why?  Because from now through October 31st you buy 3 and get the 4th one for free.  Save yourself some money, and get the ride of a new car.  Give us a call to schedule an appointment and we will get this great deal for you!!  We love replacing shocks and struts, because is it the only repair that we do that you notice the minute you drive away.

With winter coming now is a great time to check out the condition of your vehicle’s emergency kit.  Verify that everything is present, including jumper cables, flares, tools and replenish individual items as needed.  Nothing is worse than “thinking” everything is there, and then when you need it, it’s not.  Sometimes get borrowed and not returned, plus you can use things up and forget to replace them.

We hope everyone enjoys their weekend!!  If something comes up with your vehicles over the weekend, we do have a night/after hours drop off service.  The parking lot has 24 hour security, you just fill out an envelope in the mailbox by the main shop door, and then drop that through the mail slot in that same door.  We will give you a call Monday morning, and take care of your vehicle for you.  We want to make things as convenient for you as possible.

It is the first day of Fall!  Are your vehicles ready for the change in the weather?  It’s time to check your tire pressure, cooling system, the heating system, belts, hoses, brakes, etc.  Do you know that we will check all of that for you for FREE?  We want to make sure that all of your vehicles are Fall/Winter ready.  Please give us a call, and we will be happy to set an appointment to inspect your vehicles.

Would like to know how it keep your Fuel Pump in good condition?  Do not to let your gas tank run below 1/4 of a tank. Running it low on a frequent basis can cause premature wear on. Many contaminants and impurities sit at the bottom and the pump is forced to suck those up when the tank runs low, which can cause it to stop working.  If you vehicle cranks, but won’t turn over, the cause could be a fuel pump failure.  If you are in that situation, give us a call, we will get you in and diagnose the problem.
