We know that sometimes leaving your car for maintenance or repair can put you in a pinch for getting your daily routine done. So for that reason, we have added a loaner car to help you out in a pinch. Please feel free to ask us about this service on your next visit.
Besides being the only AAA approved repair facility in town we also are a contractor for Lifesafer. We install and calibrate interlock devices for customers, some being court or DOL ordered, some on a voluntary basis. We treat all of our customers with compassion, and kindness. So if you no of anyone that is having to get this device installed please send them our way!!

With this Hot weather headed our way..Remember your pets and children and do not leave them in your vehicle. It is amazing how fast the inside of a car can get. You might just need to dash inside the store for a sec..but things can happen and you might not get out was quickly as you had planned. The heartbreak of injuring a child or a pet, just isn’t worth it. So please, either leave them at home, or bring them inside with you, it’s just not worth the consequences.
It’s supposed to be a HOT ONE this weekend and coming week. Nothing is worse than being in a hot car and turning on the air conditioning and getting blasted with not cold, but hot or warm air. Before this heat wave gets here turn on you A/C and make sure it works. If you check it now and it doesn’t work you still will have time to bring it to us so that we can get in blowing nice cool air again.
This Sunday is Mother’s Day! Do you have a gift for her yet? If not how about a gift card for getting an oil change on you!!! We are sure she would appreciate it. Plus we would also do a courtesy inspection, to make sure care is in good working condition, and safe. There is still time…swing by and grab one!! She will be glad you did!!
Buying a used car can be a scary situation. You don’t know if you can believe the seller, even if you can look at records etc. You don’t know how they drive, how they maintain their vehicles. We always recommend have your car inspected BEFORE you buy it. We had a nice looking BMW come into the shop last week. At quick glance it look nice…then we put it up in the air, and you could see the over spray, and there was some damage..obviously it had been in an accident. Then the Technician tried to get into the engine compartment, and the hood release was broken. The young lady was very glad she had brought this car to us, to have this inspection done. ALWAYS get a pre-buyers inspection done. Knowledge is power!

Customers quite frequently ask why Vehicle Maintenance is important? If you want to keep your vehicle for any length of time keeping it maintained is of the up most importance. It really important to educate young drivers about this. I know from personal experience. In 1976 I bought a brand new Toyota Corolla. I love that car. I drove it everywhere…I was just 20 years old, and no one had ever talked to me about how to care for the car. I think my dad just thought I knew. Back then gas stations were full service, so I figured if it needed anything someone tell me. After about 6 month self serve stations started opening..and I started going to them…they were cool. So three years go by…I make my final car payment, and three days later I am driving down I-5 and here a loud bang..and my car STOPS running. A police officer stops, and calls a tow truck. He tows me to the nearest dealership. I call my dad, he comes to my rescue. About this time the technician comes out from the back of the shop with a dixie cup full of what looks like tar, and tells us that is my engine oil. The look on my dad’s face was priceless..I was like so..isn’t that what it’s supposed to look like??? My dad looks at me and asks when the last time was I had changed my oil…I said I didn’t know I was supposed to!!! Well that was the end of that car..threw a rod right through the engine. Lesson learned. Back then we didn’t have Jiffy Lubes etc…there weren’t commercials about oil changes. I realize things are different now..but we still need to educate and make sure that all drivers understand the importance of Maintenance.
